Collapsible plate heat exchangers are designed to transfer heat between two media separated from each other. In collapsible plate heat exchangers, heat transfer is carried out from a hot coolant to a cold (heated) medium through corrugated plates that are mounted in a frame and pulled into a package. In the process of heat exchange, liquids move in a countercurrent. In places where they may overflow, there is either a plate or a double rubber seal, which eliminates the mixing of liquids. The order of installation of the plates ensures the alternation of hot and cold channels.

Spiral heat exchangers are designed to transfer heat between two media separated from each other. In spiral apparatuses, the heat exchange surface is formed by two metal sheets welded to the dividing partition (core) and rolled up in the form of spirals. Fastening rods that are welded between the sheets strengthen the structure. Spiral heat exchangers can be collapsible and non-collapsible. They are used in working with liquid media prone to the formation of deposits. Spiral apparatuses are used in pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper industry, oil refining, food production, in municipal and chemical wastewater treatment processes.


Brazed plate heat exchangers are designed to transfer heat between two media separated from each other. In brazed plate heat exchangers, heat transfer is carried out from a hot coolant to a cold (heated) medium through corrugated plates soldered together in a vacuum chamber at high temperature. In the process of heat exchange, liquids move in a countercurrent. The order of the plates ensures the alternation of hot and cold channels. The type of plate corrugation, their size and quantity depend on the operational requirements for the heat exchanger. Brazing devices find their application in technological processes using non-aggressive media with a small amount of mechanical impurities. Most often, these are heating and hot water systems, heating points, swimming pools, refrigeration and climate control equipment, food industry.
